This article explains how to review, document, and finalize the Risk Conclusion stage of a risk assessment. It also covers how to interpret the risk scores and summaries and manage the final report. This information is intended for users performing or reviewing risk assessments in BriqSafe.
NoteRequired role: Inspector
Reading the Risk Conclusion
The Risk Conclusion stage provides an overall risk level for the assessment as well as scores for each risk group. You access this stage only after completing every other stage of data collection and review.
- Open the risk assessment and go to the Risk Conclusion stage. It unlocks only once all other stages are marked done.
- On the right side, view the semicircular risk gauge under the Risk label. The gauge points to the overall risk level, ranging from Very low to Very high. If it reads Unassessed, data is still missing and the risk cannot yet be calculated.
- On the left, expand each risk group section to see its individual Score (from 1 to 5) and review any regime-specific questions.
- Compare the overall gauge and the per-group scores to assess if the result matches your professional expectations.
Note: The Risk Conclusion is read-only for users without assessment-edit access.
Writing Risk Conclusions and Summaries
In the Risk Conclusion stage, you document the professional narrative explaining the assessment result, including executive and risk summaries.
- Open the risk assessment and go to the Risk Conclusion stage.
- Expand General conclusion and type your overall narrative into the Description field. Entries auto-save.
- Expand each risk group section to enter that group's Score and any narrative comments needed.
- On the right side, you will find the Executive Summary and Risk Summary fields. You may type summaries manually or select Generate to create draft texts automatically.
- Review and edit any auto-generated drafts, then select Save to finalize the summaries.
Important: Only users with assessment-edit access can edit narratives and summaries. Generated summaries are drafts and must be reviewed before saving. If assessment data changes after writing a summary, it will be flagged as Obsolete to indicate the need for regeneration.
Finishing a Risk Assessment
To close out and lock a completed risk assessment, use the finish function on the Risk Conclusion stage once all tasks and conclusions are complete.
- Open the risk assessment and go to the Risk Conclusion stage, which is available only after all other stages are marked done.
- In the page footer, select Finish assessment.
- In the confirmation dialog titled Finish risk assessment?, review the warning that this action cannot be undone.
- Confirm by selecting Finish assessment.
The assessment will be marked complete and will no longer appear in the default active list. If you attempt to finish an already finished assessment, the button will show Finished and no changes will be made.
Note: Once finished, an assessment cannot be reopened or edited. It is not necessary to generate the report before finishing.
Generating and Delivering the Risk Assessment Report
After documenting the conclusion, you can generate the formal compliance report to deliver to clients or colleagues.
- Within the risk assessment, open the Generate Report section.
- The Report Type, Site, and Risk Assessment fields are pre-filled and locked. The report template depends on the location's control regime and appears as either PPCL — Plan de Prevención y Control de Legionella or PSL — Plan Sanitario de Legionella.
- Optionally select a Report Preset (defaults to Default configuration).
- Select Generate Report. The report status will progress from Processing to Ready.
- If needed, you can select Regenerate later to update the report after data changes or with a different preset.
Note: It is not required to finish the risk assessment before generating the report; the report reflects the data at generation time. The report scope always includes the entire risk assessment, and the type cannot be switched to another regime's template. Report content is currently not automatically translated into Spanish, Dutch, German, French, or Italian.
Downloading or Sharing the Risk Assessment Report
Deliver the final report to stakeholders by downloading or emailing it directly from the platform.
- When the report status shows Ready, select Download to save the PDF file locally.
- To send the report via email, open the report from the Documents page and choose Share.
- Add one or more recipients from your organisation’s members, optionally include CC recipients, enter a subject and message, then send the email.
- Recipients receive an email with a secure download link (not an attachment). The link remains valid for 24 hours.
Important: You can only select recipients who are active members of your organisation; external email addresses cannot be added. If recipients do not download within 24 hours, you must re-share the report.
