Review the risk gauge and section scores

This article explains how to review the aggregated risk level and individual risk factor scores for a Location's risk assessment in BriqSafe. It is intended for users who need to understand the overall compliance posture before finishing an assessment.

Viewing the Risk Gauge and Section Scores

Use the Risk Conclusion stage to see the overall risk level and each risk group’s scores once all data collection and review stages are complete.

1. Open the risk assessment and navigate to the Risk Conclusion stage. (This stage unlocks only after all other stages show as Done.)
2. On the right side, locate the semicircular risk gauge under the Risk label, indicating the overall risk level from Very low to Very high. If it reads Unassessed, data is still missing.
3. On the left, expand each risk-group section to review its Score (range 1–5) and any regime-specific questions.
4. Read the gauge and per-group scores together to compare with your professional expectations.

Note: Read-only users can view the gauge and scores but cannot make changes.

Writing the Risk Conclusion Narrative and Summaries

Document the overall conclusion text and summary fields that explain the assessment results.

1. With assessment-edit access, open the risk assessment and the Risk Conclusion stage.
2. Expand the General conclusion section and enter your overall narrative in the Description field; entries save automatically.
3. For each risk group, expand its section and fill in the Score and related narrative fields.
4. On the right, use the Executive Summary and Risk Summary fields to type your own text or select Generate to draft one. Review and edit drafts before selecting Save.

Important: Only users with assessment-edit rights can modify narrative and summary fields. Generated summaries are drafts and must be reviewed and saved. If underlying data changes, summaries are flagged Obsolete, indicating a need to regenerate them.

Understanding Risk Assessment Progress and Access

Before the Risk Conclusion stage opens, monitor the completeness of the assessment and review what remains to be completed.

1. Open the risk assessment to see the header displaying the location name, start date, control regime code, and a circular progress indicator with the overall completeness percentage.
2. Check the Things to do group, which contains the four data-collection stages: Location, Systems, Areas, and Assets, each with its current state (Not Started, In Progress, To Review, or Done).
3. Review the Things to Review group, including Logbook & Activities, Control Schema, and Technical Recommendations.
4. Ensure all seven stages are marked Done to unlock the Risk Conclusion stage.

Note: Completeness percentage shows progress but all stages must be marked done to proceed. On very large locations, the displayed progress may under-count due to limits on objects loaded.

Additional Considerations

• The risk gauge shows Unassessed if insufficient data is available; this does not indicate zero risk.
• The Risk Conclusion stage is inaccessible until every other stage is marked done.
• Users without edit access can view scores and narratives but cannot make changes.
