Overriding an Automatically Calculated Result
You can manually change the automatically assigned Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory result for an area, asset, or system if you determine the automatic calculation does not reflect the true status.
- Navigate to the relevant area, asset, or system in the BriqSafe app.
- Locate the assessment result field showing the current Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory status.
- Click on the result to activate the manual override option.
- Select your desired status ( Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory ) to replace the automatic value.
- Save your changes to apply the override.
Understanding the Manually Overridden Banner
Once you override the assessment result manually, the system displays a banner indicating that the value has been manually changed. This banner serves as a clear sign that the current result is not the automatically generated one.
- The banner ensures transparency by highlighting that the override was intentional.
- It prevents confusion by distinguishing overridden results from automatic calculations.
Retention of the Original Calculated Result
When you manually override a result, BriqSafe preserves the original automatically calculated value behind the scenes. This means:

- The manual override does not delete or replace the auto-calculated data permanently.
- This retention supports traceability and accountability for assessment changes.
