This article explains how to view the previous job history for an Asset during an on-site visit. It is designed to help field workers quickly check past results related to the same Asset to inform current measurements.
NoteRequired role: Viewer
Open Today's Assigned Visit

Start by opening the assigned visit to see all scheduled jobs and ensure you have all job data cached for offline use.
- Open the app and go to the Visits tab.
- Use the Today / Tomorrow control to locate today’s visit.
- Tap the visit to open its list of jobs grouped by floor and Area.
Note: Open the visit while you are online to cache job data, Asset details, thresholds, and floorplans for offline work. Opening the visit after losing signal may result in incomplete job data.
Identify and Open an Asset by Scanning its QR Code
When you are physically in front of an Asset, scanning its QR code instantly opens its detailed view including job history to guide your measurements.
- On mobile, from the home screen locate the My Quick Actions section.
- Tap Scan QR to open the QR scanner and allow camera permissions if prompted.
- Point the camera at the Asset’s QR code.
- The app resolves the code and opens the Asset’s detail screen showing its name, type, location, compliance status, and linked systems.
- From the Asset detail, open the Activity History section to see the list of jobs and events related to the Asset, ordered newest-first.
Note: Scanning a soft-deleted Asset’s code will return Not found. A reassigned QR code only resolves to the current asset; it does not link to previous assets.
Access Jobs Linked to an Asset or Location

If you want to work with jobs related directly to an Asset or drill down from a Location or Structure, use the appropriate tabs to find the jobs without going through the visit list.
- Open the Locations tab on the app.
- Navigate to a Location then drill into its Structure.
- Open the Structure’s jobs list or open an Asset and select its jobs.
- Tap any job to open its execution form as you would from a visit.
Note: Job execution from the mobile app is supported; the web app Area jobs tab currently does not allow running jobs.
Filter and Search Jobs Within a Visit
To efficiently find specific jobs or group jobs by type or status during a visit, use the filter and search options.
- Open the job list for the visit.
- Tap the filter icon to open the Filters panel.
- Apply filters by Activity type and Status (Open, Completed, Overdue, Skipped).
- Tap Apply to narrow the list or Clear all to reset filters.
- Use the search icon and enter keywords into the Search jobs field to find a specific job.
Review an Asset’s Job History and Activity
You can check previous jobs and events recorded for an Asset to understand its maintenance or measurement history.
- Open the Asset’s detail panel.
- Go to the Activity History section within the information view.
- Browse the list of events, sorted from newest to oldest.
- Use filters if needed to narrow events by action or date range.
- Tap any event to see details including Performed by, Affected Items, and Additional Details.
Note: This history is read-only and records system-generated changes, not editable notes.
Start a Job During a Visit Using a Scanned Asset

While inside an active visit, after scanning an Asset’s QR code, you can start a new job directly tied to that asset.
- Scan the Asset QR code as described earlier.
- When the Asset detail screen opens, locate available pending jobs linked to the Asset.
- Tap a job to open its execution form.
- Complete the job by following the on-screen form tailored to the job’s activity type.
- Tap Complete Job when finished.
Note: The job form is fixed by the activity type; it cannot be changed manually. A completed job can be reopened for editing while the visit remains open.
