Add areas and assets during a visit

This article explains how to register new areas or assets that you discover during a field visit without interrupting your current workflow. It is intended for field users who perform site visits and need to add missing information on the spot.

Add a New Area During a Visit

You can add previously unregistered areas found during a visit directly within the app without stopping your ongoing tasks.

  1. While performing a visit, open the Areas tab or section.
  2. Select Add Area to create a new area.
  3. Enter the required details such as the Area name and any other relevant information.
  4. Save the new area to register it in the system.

Add a New Asset During a Visit

If you discover assets that are not yet registered while on site, you can quickly add them without leaving your visit session.

  1. Navigate to the Assets tab or section during your visit.
  2. Click Add Asset to open the new asset form.
  3. Fill in all mandatory fields for the asset, including its type and location within the newly added or existing area.
  4. Save the asset to register it immediately.

Adding areas and assets on the spot helps maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and avoids workflow disruptions by keeping all registration actions within the visit context.
